From 2008 to 2012, Mr. Reiff was associated with the law firm, Itkowitz & Harwood, a real estate and litigation boutique in Manhattan. Mr. Reiff handled all aspects of complex commercial litigation and high-stakes real estate and landlord-tenant matters. Mr. Reiff has litigated a wide range of issues involving rent stabilization, property damage, bankruptcy matters, and corporate ownership and management disputes, among others. He has overseen complex motion practice and voluminous electronic discovery, tried numerous cases, taken and defended as many as 100 depositions, and prepared successful state and federal appeals. In addition, Mr. Reiff represents clients in acquisitions and sales of commercial and residential real property, and the negotiation and preparation of residential and commercial leases.
In 2012, Mr. Reiff launched his own firm, SW Reiff LLC, before joining Donald A. Harwood to found Harwood Reiff LLC later that year.
Mr. Reiff is a graduate of Stanford University (B.A. 2003) and the Yeshiva University Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (J.D. 2007). He has been a lecturer for continuing legal education programs sponsored by the New York State Bar Association and Lorman Education Services on topics such as bankruptcy and landlord-tenant litigation.
